PRIVATE SACRED VALLEY TOUR FULL DAY

At SACRED VALLEY TOURS, we offer the Sacred Valley private tour as a flexible way to explore the region's archaeological sites, traditional markets, and Andean villages according to each traveler's own interests. Most departures begin in Cusco, though we can also organize private tours starting from Ollantaytambo or Urubamba.

This Sacred Valley private tour allows travelers to choose from several combinations, including three, four, or all five major sites: Chinchero, Moray, the Maras salt mines, Ollantaytambo, and Pisac. Since the vehicle and guide are reserved exclusively for one group, the pace and stops can be adjusted throughout the day.

This Sacred Valley private day tour suits travelers who prefer a personalized experience over a shared bus itinerary. At SACRED VALLEY TOURS, we coordinate pickup, private transportation, admission tickets, and lunch throughout the full-day excursion.

Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco – Taray – Pisac – Moray – Maras – Urubamba – Ollantaytambo – Chinchero – Cusco

We begin with hotel pickup in Cusco (3,399 masl) at 6:45 am, stopping first at the Taray viewpoint for photographs of the Sacred Valley before continuing to Pisac (2,972 masl), one of the largest agricultural terrace complexes built by the Inca Empire, along with its traditional market known for handicrafts. From Pisac, we continue by private vehicle to Moray (3,500 masl), composed of four circular depressions believed to have served as an agricultural experimentation site, followed by a visit to the Maras salt pans (3,380 masl), where pools of varying sizes and shapes remain in active use, before descending to Urubamba (2,871 masl) for lunch. After lunch, we continue to the Inca village of Ollantaytambo (2,846 masl), home to remains such as the Temple of the Sun and the Temple of Water, before heading to Chinchero (3,762 masl) for a weaving demonstration at the local textile center, concluding the day with drop-off at your hotel or a downtown restaurant in Cusco.
