The Sacred Valley of the Incas is located one hour from Cusco in the Peruvian Andes. This magnificent Sacred Valley was once the domain of the Incas, where they built temples and residences. Itinerary

Day 1: Private Sacred Valley Tour Itinerary

We will pick you up in our private minivan from your Cusco hotel at 7:00 AM. The classic Sacred Valley Tour will take you through ancient Incas sites, picturesque villages and stunning landscapes. First, we get to visit the llama and alpaca farm, where you will see all species of Andean camelids. Also, you will have the chance to feed, play and take pictures of them. Then, we continue stopping briefly at the lookout point of Taray, where you can take pictures of the sacred valley mountain range. Next, we visit Ollantaytambo, the second attraction in the sacred valley of the Incas. This place is known as the last living Inca village. That’s because the local residents still occupy the houses of the ancient Incas. Above all, you can walk its narrow stone streets and see the original Inca houses from inside. For instance, water canal still functions to this day. Later, our private transport will head toward the Andean plateau and we visit the last sacred valley attraction. The local ladies of Chinchero inherited the spinning, dying and weaving skills from their ancestors the Incas.
