A typical Inca village surrounded by colorful fields of potatoes, fava bean and quinoa. This place gives you the opportunity to experience the Inca site, colonial church and the weaving demonstration process.

These terraced circular depressions were built by the Incas to acclimate a wide variety of crops. In other words, this was used like a greenhouse in modern times. Further, this could only happen thanks to the temperature differences created by the sun and wind.

The Salt Mines are controlled by the Andean communities of Maras and Pichingoto however, the origin comes from pre-Inca times. This beautiful natural attraction displays more than 4000 saltpans thanks to the salty water spring. This is one of the few places in Peru where locals manually extract white, pink and brown salt!

The archeological site shows extraordinary megalithic architecture and amazing urban planning system. Visit the massive Temple of the Sun, temple of the water and granaries built on the hillsides. But, the village also worth a visit because it is known as the last living Inca city.

This is an Inca site, where you can see extensive terraced mountains with agricultural purposes. This archaeological site is even more interesting when you visit the temples, residences and the pre-Hispanic cemetery.

What is the difference between Extended sacred valley and classic sacred valley?

its simple, the our extended sacre valley tour covers 5 different attractions. But in order to fully visit these sights, we have to start the service at 6:00 am.

Whereas the classic sacred valley tour includes only 3 places. Also, the tour begins later with more confort and flexibility.

Can i start the extended sacred valley tour from Ollantaytambo or Urubamba?

No, you can’t.  Unfortunately the Inca site of Pisac is situated in opposite direction which makes a bit difficult to accomplish this service. We highly recommend to take this day trip from Cusco.

Isn´t the extended sacred valley very tiring and short time to see the sights?

Yes, it is. Sometimes the extended sacred valley tour can be exhausting because we visit five places in only one day.

If you are that person who likes visiting places at slow pace, then this service is not for you. Please, review our sacred valley private tours or the Maras and Moray Private tour for more information.

Can i finish the tour before if i want to take the train from Ollantaytambo?

Yes, you can. Alternatevely, you can see our sacred valley and Machu Picchu tour option.
